ZZT, a text-mode shareware game-making tool from 1991, is the subject of my forthcoming book. looking at the "sharpscii" character set from the european sharp mz-700, i COULD NOT HELP BUT WONDER what ZZT would have looked like if it had been made within the constraints of a different machine, a different text-mode. so i remade four boards from town of zzt.
